The Vintage Racing League team own, collect, show and race cars. We created the VRL online community - www.myvrl.com to help the 10 million people that own vintage, historic, classic and antique cars to find and communicate with each other. We developed the VRL Car Club to save our members money and reduce the time it takes to locate parts and services.

Stephen Page
Vintage Racing League Founder, Chairman and CEO
Stephen has extensive Vintage racing experience. He has owned and raced open wheel Formula cars to include a 1976 FF Crossle; a 1980 March Formula Atlantic; and a 1977 Formula One Shadow DN8.
Stephen's racing experiences with CVAR (the Southwest's leading Vintage Racing Club) and with international events to include Formula One, IRL, ChampCar, Goodwood and the La Carerra Panamericana were pivotal in framing the business plan for the Vintage Racing League. At CVAR, he was the 2003 FF2, 2004 & 2005 Open Wheel Enduro and 2006 Formula Atlantic Champion.
Prior to founding the Vintage Racing League, Stephen built three successful companies as Founder and CEO of Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd; ejobs, Inc and bpmx LLC.
At Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd., a senior level executive search firm with offices in Dallas, New York, Washington and London, Stephen built Leadership teams for many of the world's largest consulting, legal and technology companies.
ejobs, Inc., grew to 130 employees and achieved $20+ million in revenue outsourcing recruiting functions for large companies.
At bpmx, Stephen and a senior team worked with large companies to design and implement value creation strategies to commercialize internally developed operating platforms.
Prior to Page-Wheatcroft & Co., Ltd., Stephen re-engineered the back office for two large American Banks and spent four plus years in Europe, supporting the American Armed forces with top secret technology services.
Stephen was born in London and attended London University as part of British Telecom's Executive Management program. He received degrees in Mathematics and Telecommunications and is a graduate of Harvard's Executive Management program - Leadership in Professional Services. Stephen is a Board Member of www.riverlogic.com, a leading Business Intelligence company.
Travis Buckingham
Vintage Racing League, CTO
Travis is the Vintage Racing League Chief Technology Officer. He is the developer of the VRL's online community - www.myvrl.com and the VRL Car Club Merchant Partner, advertising and e-commerce platform.
Travis is responsible for operating and enhancing the performance of the community and operating platform on an ongoing basis.
Travis has successfully built and operated multiple e-commerce and business websites, most recently for River Logic - www.riverlogic.com - a world-class Business Intelligence/Integrated Business Planning company.
Travis and Stephen have applied for a Business Process Patent from the USPTO, for their groundbreaking work to develop VRL's proprietary Merchant Partner Advertising Placement algorithm.
Travis has a BS in Biology and Chemistry from Louisiana State University and is currently completing a MBA from Tulane University.
Vintage Racing League, President and Chief Marketing Officer
The President and CMO is responsible for building our VRL Car Club Merchant Partner, Marketing Partner, Sponsor and Advertising relationships globally.
Kenny Smith
Vintage Racing League, Chief Content Officer
Kenny is the Creative Head of the Vintage Racing League. Kenny is responsible for enhancing the VRL global brand and positioning the VRL community as the premier source of information for people that love racing and cars.
Kenny leads the development of our collateral material to include our bespoke invitations to join VRL, our Newsletter, customized on an individual member preference basis, all online and event promotion materials.
Kenny has led the Online Creative efforts for many global companies to include Sprint.
Vintage Racing League, Chief Recruiting Officer
The VRL is working with a third party company to build and enhance our database of 10+ million people that collect, show and race vintage, historic, classic and antique cars.
The CRO recruits VRL community and VRL Car Club members at live events, from online forums and via promotional relationships with large established car clubs on a global basis.
Scott Murray, Vintage Racing League Advisory Board Director
For 30 years, Scott was an Award winning television sports anchor and broadcast journalist for NBC in Dallas/Ft. Worth and Washington, D.C. In his capacity as a Top 10 Market Sports Anchor, Scott covered the Indy 500, the Daytona 500, Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen, Montreal and Monte Carlo He remains an avid automotive race car enthusiast and served as host of the award-winning weekly television program, Raceweek, for close to a decade.
Mike Watson, Vintage Racing League Advisory Board Director
Mike Watson is a proven Corporate Securities and Business lawyer. Mike worked with Fulbright & Jaworski before purchasing Taylor Race Engineering, a world-class driveline solutions company, based in Plano Texas. Taylor Race Engineering support approximately 8,000 exotic car owners. professional and amateur race drivers globally. Mike functions as the VRL's Chief Legal Officer.
John Grant, Vintage Racing League Advisory Board Director
John grew up in the car industry, spending 25 years with Ford and Jaguar. After he “retired”, John become Chairman of the Motor Sports Association (the UK’s governing Motorsports body). John is non-executive director of a number of public and private companies. John continues to race Can Am and Historic Formula 1 cars in the UK and Europe.
Christopher Tate, Vintage Racing League Advisory Board Director
Christopher is a former race car driver and historically worked with the CART/CHAMP organization in the USA. Christopher now runs the Masters Racing Series in the UK and Europe and appears as a race announcer on TV.
Bill Atalla, Vintage Racing League Advisory Board Director
Bill is a proven CEO and operating executive. He is a passionate car collector, restoration expert and Concours winner. He has successfully built and sold companies and is a nationally recognized best selling author. Bill’s professional experience includes positions as CEO of TriStrata, Inc; Oddly Enough Ventures, Atalla Corporation (sold to Tandem) and Build Your Classic Car. Bill graduated from Menlo College School of Business with a BS Business Administration.
